Today marks an exciting day for the Phoenix Phrenzy Developer Contest, as we are set to announce the results of the competition later today.

The Phoenix Phrenzy Developer Contest was launched in April of this year, with developers from around the world competing to create mobile-friendly applications related to local events and attractions. The contest drew participation from developers in such countries as the United States, Mexico, Germany, France, and even India.

The submissions were judged by a panel of tech industry professionals who evaluated each entrant based on criteria such as innovation, design, and usage of technology. After much deliberation, the panel has finally chosen the winners, who will be announced at a special event later today.

The event will be streamed live online for those who can’t attend in person. We’ll be providing updates throughout the day on our Twitter and Facebook pages, so make sure to follow us @phxphrenzy to get all the news first.

We look forward to announcing the winners tonight and rewarding them for their innovation and hard work!

It’s official – the Phoenix Phrenzy Developer Contest has come to an end, and the results are in!

For the past twelve weeks, developers from across the country have been taking part in the contest, competing for prizes of up to $10,000 by introducing new apps and delivering innovative solutions for people using Phoenix.

The contest has now come to an end, and after months of hard work and dedication from everyone involved, we are proud to finally announce the winners.

The grand prize winner of $10,000 is Chris Tryorn from Austin, Texas, who created a simply stunning app called “Sunset Siren” that allows you to take pictures of sunsets and share them with your friends.

Second place went to Sara Wegge from San Francisco, California with her app “Compass”, which provides users with real-time information about their surroundings so they can navigate urban areas more easily.

Third prize was won by Hunter Grant from Seattle, Washington who created an app called “Sky Maker” which helps you create custom star charts to help you identify constellations in the night sky.

We are also proud to announce that our four honorable mentions are Charles Rogers from Denver Colorado with his app “Flash”; Victor Martinez from Chicago Illinois with his app “Illumination”; Alice McCoy from Atlanta Georgia for her app “Texit”; and Mikey Daniels from New York City for his app “Sprout”.

We would like to offer a massive congratulations again to all our winners and honorable mentions – the standard of entries was incredibly high, so well done to everyone who participated!

We’d also like to extend our thanks once again to everyone who helped make this contest such a huge success: our sponsors; our judges; and of course all those talented developers who submitted such incredible entries.
